infiniti creates flexible solutions that meet the contemporary needs of designers and business owners. Diane, Tondina Slim and Ruelle are examples of collections that adapt to different settings while maintaining stylistic continuity.

In recent years, one of the key trends in the hospitality contract world has been the pursuit of a dialogue between indoor and outdoor spaces, both aesthetically and functionally. This shift is driven by the growing demand for flexible environments that can easily evolve with new ways of working, living and hosting. As a result, designers and brands are pursuing a balance of comfort, style, durability and visual coherence, made possible by hybrid solutions that allow greater freedom of use. The same chair can welcome guests in a dining room with a soft cushion, while also taking center stage on a terrace with nothing added.

It’s an approach that the Italian “Made in Treviso” company infiniti knows well: every product is designed to meet the needs of different types of spaces, from offices to hotel and leisure venues, from restaurants to corporate environments. Combining creativity, formal research and production know-how rooted in the local territory, the brand manufactures its furniture in-house, creating pieces designed to adapt to both indoor and outdoor settings.

An example of this method can be seen in several infiniti collections, including Diane, designed by French designer Ambroise Maggiar and unveiled during Milan Design Week 2025. Featuring a vibrant color palette, the seat is defined by its steel structure, which, through a play of solids and voids, evokes the charm of the Belle Époque.

As the designer told us in a recent interview, “The idea was to revisit vintage French garden furniture – Belle Époque, Art Nouveau – and connect that language with industrial feasibility.” Available with or without armrests, Diane is designed for outdoor use but fits seamlessly into indoor settings as well. Its wide metal seat ensures comfort, while its stackability makes it ideal for Horeca and residential contexts. The resistant coating ensures durability, and an optional cushion enhances comfort without compromising its essential aesthetic.

Alongside the chair version, an armchair is already available, and in 2026, the series will expand with a stool and a side table, ideal for anyone looking to create a striking total-look interior.

Another product that adapts to any context is Tondina Slim, the latest addition to the Tondina family. It stands out for its distinctive perforated pattern that recalls traditional ’50s wickerwork, reinterpreted in a more contemporary version. Designed by Favaretto & Partners, the chair is inspired by Nordic design, featuring a softly contoured seat and backrest supported by a minimal structure.

The perforated plastic lightens the aesthetic and allows water to drain easily, simplifying cleaning, while the galvanized frame ensures resistance to weather, making it perfect for terraces and outdoor areas. Tondina Slim is available with or without armrests and is accompanied by other versions such as the “Fat,” with a reinforced 22-mm rod frame, as well as kitchen-, bar-stool and lounge models. A versatile product family suited to both indoor and outdoor environments, from hospitality spaces to terraces and home interiors.

Ruelle, on the other hand, draws inspiration from the narrow alleys of small villages in the French countryside (“ruelles”), and is the proposal by Philippe Tabet. Designed to be lightweight yet strong, it features a die-cast aluminum structure and extruded aluminum legs.

Thanks to its shape and characteristics, Ruelle can be used in bars and restaurants, as well as outdoor spaces: the indoor version can be paired with upholstery, while the veranda version combines aluminum with a wooden back panel. The outdoor model features a key functional detail: small cuts in the seat that allow water to drain and prevent pooling.

Designing coherent indoor-outdoor spaces does not mean using the same products everywhere. As shown by this selection of seating designed by infiniti, the goal is to create collections that, through thoughtful design choices, can provide continuity across complex projects covering both interior and exterior areas. By applying subtle, targeted variations between models – for example in materials, finishes or mechanical details such as perforations and cuts – the company is able to deliver a coherent experience across areas.

This approach provides, on the one hand, the ability to meet the needs of designers with versatile, functional products where comfort, style and durability remain consistent. On the other hand, it offers business owners a solution with an aesthetic that is similar but not identical, creating continuity throughout the space without becoming monotonous.

Another important aspect in the design of public and commercial spaces is sustainability: creating collections capable of adapting to multiple contexts with minimal variations reduces the number of molds, components and processes required, optimizing production and limiting waste. At the same time, the ability to use the same product – or the same family – both indoors and outdoors is a choice that blends aesthetics and responsibility: it offers designers and clients flexible, coherent solutions that adapt to different scenarios, while contributing to a more conscious use of materials and production processes.
