The client’s vision was simple but powerful: a refuge in the city where he and his family could unwind. The result is a rooftop terrace that feels like a “hut in the sky,” combining comfort, greenery, and thoughtful design.
As soon as you step inside, you’re greeted by plants that soften the space and set a relaxed tone. The indoor entertaining area feels warm and inviting, with a gabled wood ceiling overhead. Hidden lighting highlights the architecture while keeping the atmosphere cozy.
A small kitchen and bar make entertaining easy, while the large couch invites family movie nights or laid-back evenings together.
From the outside, the hut is wrapped in wood siding that extends onto the deck, creating a seamless flow between inside and out. The deck is more than just an open space, it’s been carefully designed for both relaxation and entertaining.
Hidden lighting glows softly after dark, built-in bench seating makes room for friends, and a spa becomes the ultimate escape. Plants play a big role throughout the terrace. They’re not just decorative, they frame the deck, create a sense of privacy, and give the rooftop a natural, tranquil feel.
